The Gary, Indiana Plant offers slitting services from a 72" Pro-Eco slitter with a Herr Voss Strand Extensioner, a 60" Paxson Slitter with an additional 72" Head and a 24" Yoder slitter. Our 80,000# - 72" Pro-Eco Slitter is equipped with a Herr Voss Strand Extensioner. The strand extensioner allows us to pull good tight cuts with minimum camber and the great shape you've come to expect from Chicago Steel. The line ranges from .017 through .175.
